Devlog#72-74: Basically, tutorial + bunch of news

Basic function of tutorial is finished!

I still got some scenery and bug fixes so it's still WIP.

The parallax is a massive headache, reading input button name and drawing sprites for general button is another pain.

But hey, it's almost there!

I initially think that let her teleport after player talked to her is a cool idea, but considering some player might skip things unintentionally, I decided to let her become a hologram, like Gina from HL.

Which means more sprite work!

The second news is......

My game is on TGS!

Yes, it "E" rated version, so no erotic stuff, also DEMO is on steam now!

Thanks to my publisher, Mango Party.

Lastly, a bad news, but it's also the most important one:

Horrendous Unity pricing issue

Most of you are probably aware of how things going on, eh?

Now, 200,000 USD revenue in a year, one game AND pass lifetime installation of 200,000 times is a somewhat high bar for me to reach......

BUT due to the "Trust me bro" explanation on how they gonna count that and changing TOS and condition (on WebGL and such) on the fly shows that they're somewhat unreliable, I'm considering to change the engine I'm using.

I'm probably gonna keep using Unity for now, but  if they didn't revert that policy (or at least change to a more reliable revenue system), I might change the engine I'm using for my next game, or worse, this game.

I'll try to make short demos of this game in Godot and Game Maker Studio 2 when I am able to do it, and it'll determine which one I'm gonna use base on the result.
